Stacy Forbess is very enthusiastic about baton twirling!  As a youth, she loved twirling and competing in baton contests, performing in halftime shows and marching in parades.  In 1982, she won Intermediate Miss Majorette of America in a national competition held annually at Notre Dame University.   Stacy has twirled all over the country and in Mexico where she taught twirling to children at an orphanage while she was on a mission trip.   Now she is eager to teach the sport to girls on the Eastern Shore.  She believes that baton twirling inspires girls to become self disciplined, teaches rhythm, coordination and leadership skills, and provides girls with an overall sense of self confidence.  She gets so excited when a twirler masters a new trick or twirl, and that excitement is catching on the Eastern Shore!

She has been married to Ed for 23 years and they have a beautiful 20 year old daughter, Taylor, and a handsome 18 year old son, Trevor. Stacy also has a step daughter, Anna, who is married to Scott, and they have two children Gabriel and Samantha. They are all active members of Jubilee Shores United Methodist Church in Fairhope.
