Baton twirling is awesome and only for girls who like to be challenged!  No wimps here!  Baton twirling teaches rhythm, coordination, leadership, self-discipline and perserverance.  Ms. Stacy specializes in dance twirl so it is a lot of fun learning routines to upbeat and exciting music. 



EASTERN SHORE TWIRLERS -- 2012 RECITAL INFORMATION

It's been a great year of baton twirling with many fun memories. We performed at Trunk or Treat, marched in a Christmas parade, had our very own successful competition,  twirled at the Arts & Crafts Festival and are now ready for our grand finale... an exciting and entertaining recital! 

Recital – Saturday, May 19 at 10:00am.  Twirlers need to be there at 9:30am. We should be done by 11:00.

 

Try-outs for next year's competition team – immediately following the recital.  There will be a question/answer session for the parents while the girls are trying out.  Should take about 45 mins.

Directions -  From Daphne to Fairhope, going south on Hwy 98, pass the Fairhope Recreation Center.  Turn right onto Gayfer Avenue.  At the end, turn left on Section Street.  Pass the school on the left, turn left onto Bayou and the gym is on the left.

What to wear – Twirlers need to arrive in full costume.  Hair should be up in a bun and out of eyes.  Stage makeup is encouraged, especially blush and lipstick.

What to bring – Clean baton and pom poms, camera and/or video camera.
